Fees & pricing
Our fees are agreed upon through a fee agreement, based on a flat-rate budget whenever possible, and on an hourly rate when the nature or complexity of the matter does not allow for a fixed fee arrangement.
A contingency fee component may also be agreed upon depending on the case.
A detailed fee estimate will be provided upon request.
A fee agreement covering the full cost (fees, expenses, and disbursements) as well as the scope of services will be submitted prior to any engagement.
The First Consultation
The fee for an initial consultation at our office is $150 (excl. tax). This first meeting allows us to review your situation together and determine the best course of action for your needs.
Should you decide to engage our firm following the consultation, this amount will be fully deducted from the total fees due.
